‘Wound That Will Never Heal’: Raveena Tandon Boards Air India Flight, Lauds The Crew & Pays Condolences

Actress Raveena Tandon is an avid social media user. She often takes to her official handles to share glimpses of her life. On Monday, she revealed that she had boarded her Air India flight, days after the tragic Ahmedabad crash. Sharing her selfies from inside the aircraft, not only did she open up about the “solemn” atmosphere, but also paid her condolences to the grieving families of the people who died in the crash.

Taking to her official social media handle, Tandon posted a series of selfies while sitting on her seat and also penned a heartfelt note. She started the note by saying, “New Beginnings … to rise and fly again against all odds … to pick up and start all over , new resolve towards greater strength. The atmosphere solemn and the crews welcoming smiles, tinted with sadness.”

Opening up about the atmosphere in the aircraft, she added, “The Silent passengers and crew bonding with unspoken condolences and subtle confidence .Condolences to the families that have lost their loved ones . A wound that will never heal. . Godspeed always @airindia . Fearless and a will To overcome and be strong again. Jai Hind.”

For those who don’t know, the Air India-171 aircraft had 242 people on board. It was en route to London, however, it crashed shortly after departing the Ahmedabad airport. Media reports suggest that among the passengers, 169 were Indians, 53 were British nationals, 7 were Portuguese citizens, and one was a Canadian. The crash killed more than 270 people as the plane reportedly crashed into a nearby hostel.
