The cost of hiring Gauri Khan for interior design varies. Reports suggest she charges Rs. 6 lakh for a basic consultation. For residential projects, fees can range from Rs. 30 lakh to over Rs. 5 crore, depending on the project’s scope. Luxury villa projects may cost between Rs. 3 crore and over Rs. 10 crore. Commercial projects can range from Rs. 50 lakh to over Rs. 20 crore, based on scale. Her store also sells custom furniture, with pieces costing up to Rs. 5 lakh. Final costs depend on project size, materials, and customization. These figures are unconfirmed by Gauri Khan or her team.
Earlier, in an interview with News18, Gauri shared insights into her design journey. “Gauri Khan Designs launched in 2013. I took the plunge as a hobby, and before I knew it, it turned into a lifelong, fulfilling profession,” she said, adding, “It’s been the result of a long-standing passion for interior design.” She attributes her success to hands-on learning, stating, “I’ve spent a fair share of time learning on the job.” She also noted, “I’ve always been fortunate to have my passion be my profession, so it’s never really felt like work.”
Gauri is currently renovating her mansion, Mannat. She told News18 the project is progressing well and should be completed within a year.
