Salman Khan and his family celebrated Raksha Bandhan on August 9 at Alvira Khan Agnihorti’s home. Videos of the family visiting Alvira were shared on social media. Now, photos from the celebration show Salman smiling as his sisters tied a Rakhi on his wrist. In one photo, Arpita Khan looks happy while tying the Rakhi. Other pictures show Alvira and family enjoying the moment. Salman wore a black T-shirt and blue jeans.
Fans love these photos and are talking about Salman’s sweet Rakhi celebration. One fan wrote, “Aap ko duniya bhar ka pyar mile.” Another said, “God bless you.” Yesterday, Salman was seen with his father, Salim Khan, at Alvira’s home, and those videos spread online.
Salman’s Rakhi sister, Bina Kak, shared a note since she couldn’t attend due to a broken ankle. She wrote, “Since I am recovering from a broken ankle, I will miss you on Rakhi day, my dear Salman, my brother like son… I pray for your happiness, long, healthy, and peaceful life ahead. Lots of love and blessings always, dear Salman.”
Salman has been under tight security because of death threats from the Bishnoi gang. Recently, a gang member’s voice note warned the industry not to work with Salman, threatening anyone who does.
In an India Today interview, Sooraj Barjatya discussed working with Salman on a new film, saying, “Thoda waqt hai. We are working on the story of the film with Salman bhai. But we will also have to have an age-appropriate script for the same. We will be announcing the film soon, probably in November. It features established actors, but we cannot talk much about it. It’s a family drama and a love story, a world that we present strongly in our films. I do feel responsible towards giving our audiences the stories that we believe and celebrate.” This will be their first film together since Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (2015), after earlier hits like Maine Pyar Kiya (1989), Hum Aapke Hain Koun..! (1994), and Hum Saath-Saath Hain (1999).
