Bollywood actor Salman Khan never shies away from making light of his own success as well as failure. Being the first guest on comedian Kapil Sharma’s Netflix celebrity comedy chat show The Great Indian Kapil Show, he was in full form, expressing himself and even roasting his box-office duds. In the promo released by Netflix India, he seems to be taking a dig at Sikandar’s box-office failure.
As he is seen enjoying himself, joking with Kapil and making the audience laugh, in a segment, he meets with a few impersonators of Bollywood actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Ajay Devgn, and others. He also meets a man dressed as his character Radhe Bhaiyya from Tere Naam.

Greeting him, he humourously asks how everything is going for him at work. He goes on to mention his recently released film Sikandar. Quoted by Hindustan Times, he is heard saying, “Kaam dhanda accha chalra hai? Sikandar se koi farak to nahi pada?” The impersonator shakes his head in denial and flashes a big smile at the actor. The interaction leaves the audience, Kapil, Archana Puran Singh, and Navjyot Singh Sidhu in giggles.
Talking about Sikandar, the film became one of the biggest earners of 2025 in Bollywood. Having collected Rs 121 crores, it didn’t meet the expectations set by Khan’s films previously. Even the reviews by the critics as well as the audience were largely negative. The movie is currently streaming on Netflix. The third season of The Great Indian Kapil Show will premiere on Netflix on June 21, 2025.

On the work front, Salman Khan was last seen in AR Murugadoss’ actioner Sikandar, co-starring Rashmika Mandanna, which tanked at the box office. He will reportedly be seen next in Apoorva Lakhia’s untitled film, which will be based on the Galwan Valley clash. He will be essaying the role of Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu in the upcoming war drama.
