Glenmark Pharmaceuticals’ wholly-owned subsidiary, Ichnos Glenmark Innovation Inc. (IGI), has entered into an exclusive licensing agreement with U.S.-based pharmaceutical company AbbVie for its lead drug candidate, ISB 2001. As part of the deal, IGI will receive an upfront payment of $700 million (approximately ₹6,000 crore).
