Mohit Suri’s latest romantic drama, Saiyaara, has taken the Indian box office by storm, officially crossing Rs 200 crore milestone in just nine days of its release. According to estimates by Sacnilk, the film, starring debutants Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, has amassed an impressive Rs 217.25 crore nett in India, defying all initial projections and setting its sights on Rs 300 crore club.
The film’s remarkable performance continued into its second weekend, where it registered a robust Rs 26.5 crore on its second Saturday — a staggering 50% jump from its second Friday collection of Rs 18 crore.

So far, Saiyaara has collected Rs 44.5 crore over the second weekend, building on its stellar opening week haul of Rs 172.75 crore. What makes Saiyaara’s success even more extraordinary is its modest production budget, reportedly in the range of Rs 40-50 crore. This lean cost structure has positioned the film among the most profitable Bollywood ventures of all time, delivering an unprecedented return on investment.
Saiyaara has now surpassed Akshay Kumar’s Housefull 5 to claim the title of the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2025, trailing only behind Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, which has earned a monumental Rs 601 crore. Initially projected to wrap its theatrical run around the Rs 200 crore mark, Saiyaara is now being touted as a strong contender to join Chhaava in the prestigious Rs 300 crore club.
