After much anticipation, Aamir Khan starrer Sitaare Zameen Par is all set to release on the big screens on June 20. With advance bookings opening, fans have been rushing to book their tickets. Through his recent interviews and media interactions, the actor had announced that he would be keeping his tickets at a minimal rate, since the film wouldn’t be releasing on any OTT platforms. It seems like Mr Perfectionist has stayed true to his promise. Here’s how much the cheapest and the most expensive ticket for the film costs.
According to a report by the Free Press Journal, the prices of Sitaare Zameen Par’s advance booking have been kept very minimal. The cheapest ticket for the film is priced at Rs 130. The price is not just for the single-screen theatres but also for the multiplexes. Yes, you read that right! The report adds that tickets priced at Rs 130 are available at the Gaiety Galaxy, Maratha Mandir, Wonder Mall Thane, Mukta A2 Goregaon, and others.

On the other hand, the most expensive ticket for Sitaare Zameen Par has been priced at Rs 1,820, in Jio World Plaza’s Maison INOX. It is to be noted that the ticket price also includes a food and beverage coupon.
For those who have missed out on knowing about Khan’s strategy for Sitaare Zameen Par, he had recently announced that his film will never release on a streaming platform, since the only way to watch a film is to do it in theatres. With the low-priced tickets, he is aiming to draw back the audience for the big screen experience.

Media reports suggest that despite being approached by streaming giants like Amazon Prime Video and Netflix, since the 60-year-old actor has also produced the film through his banner Aamir Khan Productions, has declined their offers. He has also urged his fans not to indulge in the film’s piracy. To ensure the same, Aamir has reportedly hired teams to ensure Sitaare Zameen Par doesn’t get leaked online, making sure that they have no option but to watch the film in theatres.
The R.S. Prasanna directorial Sitaare Zameen Par marks the debut of 10 specially-abled actors – Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra, and Simran Mangeshkar. The movie also stars Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh. Produced by Khan himself, the slice-of-life sports drama is said to be a spiritual sequel to his 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. The film will release on the big screens on June 20, 2025.
