Actor Sanjay Kapoor and reality star Maheep Kapoor’s daughter Shanaya Kapoor is all set to make her much-awaited Bollywood debut with Vikrant Massey starrer Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. She recently took to her official social media handle to release the poster and announce that the teaser of the film will be released tomorrow on June 5, 2025. While the internet couldn’t stop gushing about the upcoming movie, her BFF Suhana Khan couldn’t stop hyping up her debut project.
Sharing the poster on Instagram, in a collaborative post, the makers of Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan captioned it, “Two hearts. One love. And countless Gustaakhiyan #AankhonKiGustaakhiyan Teaser Out Tomorrow! Come feel the love on 11th July in cinemas near you.” Excited to finally see her best friend on the big screen, Khan reshared the poster on her Instagram stories and wrote, “Can’t wait.”

According to media reports, Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan is based on Ruskin Bond’s short story The Eyes Have It. Touted as a musical drama, the film will see Shanaya portraying the role of a theatre artist, and Vikrant will be seen playing the role of a blind musician. The film reportedly will explore the intricacies of human connection.
It is to be noted that it was earlier announced that the 25-year-old actress will be making her much-awaited Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s film Bedhadak, co-starring Kill fame Lakshya and Gurfateh Pirzada. The filmmaker had even made a grand announcement about it in 2022. However, the film was later shelved. It was then reported that she would be making her acting debut alongside superstar Mohanlal for the Malayalam film Vrushabha. However, even that film was delayed by several months.

On the work front, Shanaya Kapoor will finally be making her Bollywood debut with Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan. The film will be released in theatres on July 11, 2025. She will be next seen in Bejoy Nambiar’s survival thriller, Tu Yaa Main. The shooting of the film will start soon. She reportedly also has Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 3 web series in her pipeline. Directed by debutant Reema Maya, the show is said to consist of six episodes.
