Actor Ranveer Singh is currently busy shooting for Aditya Dhar’s upcoming directorial Dhurandhar. The film also includes an ensemble cast of Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal among others. While details of the movie have been kept under wraps, Singh’s look for it has created quite a lot of buzz. Amidst it all, he was spotted attending a wedding, where he took the stage by storm as usual with his dance performances.
In the viral videos shared by other media publications on their social media platforms, he is seen channeling his inner Rocky Randhawa, his character from Karan Johar directorial Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, as he danced along the crowd on the stage to the song What Jhumka from the same film. For the occasion, he was seen wearing an all black outfit, sunglasses while flaunting his overgrown beard and long hair, reportedly his look for the upcoming film.

As per a report by the Indian Express, netizens figured out that Ranveer’s new look was for his character in Dhurandhar, after video from the film’s shoot had gone viral on all social media platforms. A section of the internet had gone and compared his look to Ranbir Kapoor’s in Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial Animal.
The project was announced in July 2024, on Singh’s official social media handle, with the caption, “This one is for my fans, who have been so patient with me, and been clamouring for a turn like this. I love you all, and I promise you, this time, a cinematic experience like never before. With your blessings, we embark on this great, big motion picture adventure with spirited energy and pure intent. This time, it’s personal.”

On the work front, Ranveer Singh had reprised his iconic role Simmba in Rohit Shetty’s cop drama Singham Again. He will be next seen in Dhurandhar and Farhan Akhtar directorial Don 3. The shoot for the same is set to commence at the end of 2025.
